 | Since the 21March 2020, the Dentist and their team have been keeping all informed how they are operating with the various requirements under the Covid-19 rules. These have been constantly updated as each changed has been made. This help and advice, especially on how to access all types of treatment and from where, has been a great source of comfort to all during a very difficult time. They have been warm, concerned and professional when dealing with my enquires for treatment whether by email or phone. I wish to commend them for continuing to provide a fine service in such awful times.  | Medika dental was recommended to me by a friend as I was a reluctant and nervous patient following bad experiences in the past. They could not have been more considerate, thoughtful, gentle and professional. To the extent that I had a tooth out in the chair and had no idea that the procedure had finished! I’m now visiting regularly, both dentist and hygienist, and my teeth are in the best condition they have been in for years. Excellent advice given, which always works - and throughly lovely, professional staff throughout. I can’t recommend them enough.  | The current situation has been a very difficult time and particularly so for Dental Practices who have not been provided with any financial support. So I was relieved and delighted when MediKa Dental opened again (which was one of the first practices to open in my area) and it wasn't long before I was able to see both the Dentist and the Hygienist. The consultations and treatments are always very thorough and my Dentist always takes the time to explain everything very clearly. She is always very respectful and has a very pleasant manner as do all the reception staff. So thank you to the whole team and I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new Dental Practice.  | "On my first appointment at Medika Dental since Covid-19 manifested, my dentist, Dr Nas Karami spotted an ulcer at the back of my throat of which I was unaware, although I did tell her that from time to time I suffered a mild soreness of the throat which I put down to the fact that I am a heavy snorer.
I told her that each day I used a nasal spray as a treatment for hay fever and a dust allergy. She asked me to check whether the spray was a corticosteroid which she said could be causing my throat problem. On her advice I contacted my GP who confirmed that the spray was a steroid (as did the medicine's accompanying leaflet) and in view of my throat ulceration my GP advised that I cease using the spray, which I did. My throat problem disappeared.
I am so impressed by Nas's detective work and am most grateful to her for solving my throat problems which have been going on sporadically for years. I also take Fexofenadine Hydrochloride for my allergy problems, and as they have not increased since I stopped using the spray, it appears I didn't need to use it anyway! My thanks to Nas for making my life just a little bit more comfortable, and my thanks to all at Medika Dental for the excellent treatment and care they provide."  | I have had two visits to Medika Dental since the COVID19 epidemic began (both with the last month) and I continue to be impressed with the professional and welcoming attitude of all the staff.
